Holloman & Berger win in State Senate Race
Allen wins in house race
By Maurice Emery

LITTLETON – The rain may have kept some voters home, or maybe it was the lack of any national election regardless of the reason voting was down this year. Although we won’t have the final numbers until after this paper is printed, we do know that in Halifax County it was estimated that less than 10% of the voters had cast their ballots by noon.
When the voting was complete 23% of the eligible voters in Halifax county cast their ballot. In the Littleton area in Littleton Precinct 1 - 25% of eligible voters cast a ballot. In Littleton Precinct 2 - 32% of eligible voters cast a ballot.
